We love the idea of two sisters sharing a room because we've seen the bond it can encourage. However, as they grow older it becomes increasingly important to allow each of them to have their own designated space to express themselves.
With two young ladies at the center of this project, we knew that we would need tons of storage for clothes, books, accessories and whatever they wanted to display and organize. We added some extra shelves above Sabina's bed, since she had more books she wanted there. For Stella, we created a lit backboard where she could display pictures of her friends and family.
We gave each of the girls a mirror to prevent them from having to fight over one, while still allowing them to talk and listen to music together in the morning before school.
