When we design furniture, we’re constantly thinking about the way each piece will be used. It’s important to us that we understand how kids interact with our products so that we’re able to adjust and change our products around their needs first. Although there are many functions for any item that a child incorporates into their room that we can’t predict (the imagination of a child can turn a bed into a plane, a time-machine, a spaceship…..) we’ve found that there are four main uses that kids use our inspirations furniture collection of products for: sleeping, studying, playing and organizing. While we often design an entire room for clients, which you can view in our Portfolio tab, sometimes we make one item at a time, as additions to rooms that are already put together. Here are some of the pieces we’ve created for each of these modular rooms and furniture inspirations and some shots of them in action.
