Serena’s Room: A Dreamy Loft and Study Area

This serene, light-drenched room is centered around a custom full-size loft bed designed to maximize functionality without sacrificing style. The loft bed features a step staircase with 5 deep storage drawers and a stair rail for added safety that leads to the sprawling sleeping area.

Below the loft, we created a multifunctional zone with storage cabinets that offer a mix of open and closed storage, an upholstered bench with drawers underneath.

We placed a shallow shelving cabinet with a custom cutout to maintain access to an outlet and light switch.

Across from the bed is a custom workspace and storage area featuring a desk with two pencil drawers, a three drawer cabinet on the left side of the desk, and a wide two door storage cabinet on the right side.

Floating above the desk area are cabinets that offer a combination of open and closed storage, providing plenty of space for display items while keeping other essentials neatly tucked away and out of sight.

This room is finished in white with exposed birch edges, adding a subtle texture and dimension to the furniture. A watercolor-inspired wallpaper wraps the room in soft, dreamy shades of blue and lavender, perfectly complementing the light and airy feel of the space. This room was designed in collaboration with interior designer Jen Levy.
