This twin over full bunk bed design is ideal for families who host frequent guests. The full-size lower bed is perfect for sleepovers or visiting grandparents (as a child migrates to share the upper twin bunk or the trundle bed below). The full-size bed also lends itself well to parents who want to lay in bed and read to or comfort their child. This loft over full bed also features a trundle for added sleeping space.
We centered this unit along the wall to accommodate existing niches and molding, incorporating the open and closed shelving with the storage steps. The desk expands to the depth of the full-sized portion of the bed, which is perfect for these two siblings to share and each have enough space for homework.
We lined the entire window wall with a seamless radiator cover and closed storage unit. The top lends itself nicely to becoming a perfect spot to sit or as a display surface.
This custom desk features pencil drawers, as well as a cable management system beneath the desktop that wards off clutter by keeping all wires and surge protectors off the floor.
The shelving and storage stairs were designed to align perfectly with the existing niches, and provide plenty of space for display and storage. We also provided each girl with their own hanging tray which is perfect for a water glass, nightlight or book!
Off the bedroom, the girls have a media and playroom. We aligned this wall with built-in cabinets that feature both closed and open storage, as well as an open surface made for a mounted television.
