Recently, Brooke and Eric got a dreamy new double loft bed room designed by Casa Kids. This large space with floor length windows is now the perfect oasis for this pair of siblings. Whether they’re playing together or alone, each night Brooke and Eric get a restful sleep while dreaming in the clouds.
To keep an open and airy feel in the room we customized our Dumbo loft bed with stairs in our classic birch finish by adding white accents. The furniture was positioned away from the floor length windows to keep the natural light unobstructed.
Their loft beds are the main piece of furniture in the room keeping most of the room wide open for playtime.
A shared space doesn’t have to feel shared. Keeping in mind that Brooke and Eric are growing rapidly, we designed a room where both children can have a space to call their own. As they grow older this room can have a partition added. They’ll love their private space and personal storage.
Under Eric’s lofted bed he stores his favorite toys and books that are all his own.
Before working on this room, it had very little storage. We supplied each side of the room with custom closets and a lofted bed. Underneath the loft there are custom drawers, shelving, a magnetic board, and desk. Each step of the staircase is a deep drawer to stash away goods.
Our hanging trays are compatible with all our beds. They make for the easy nightstand on an elevated bed.
In addition to the staircase’s handrail, we also added transparent grip tape for an extra layer of safety. No slips here!
